We have done the Holiday Inn hotel in Boksburg with the purpose of sound proofing. Every 2 minutes one airoplane passes on top of the hotel with only 100m latitude And the noise was very irritating for the customers. We could manage to sound proof it with our uPVC windows including sound proof glass.
